Since the passage of AB1953 bill in California, the industry has seen rapid changes. Today, the demand for lead-free brass has increased. Many factories have also changed from speculating to actively involved in this changed.
Currently the C6802 lead-free brass is being widely used within the industry. C6802 was also what we had used for our CNC machined parts. However, there was one incident where the customer product experienced assembly faultiness due to thinness of the product wall. After extensive exploration, the lead-free C89710 brass was discovered.
In addition to its low lead content, easy cutting and resistance to dezincification, the strength of this brass also meets customer requirements. C89710 brass machined parts quickly accounted for more than half of our shipments.
However, with new materials there are always new risks present. We suffered some loses due to problems in manufacturing process, causing product defects. After experiencing these problems, we collaborated with our partners, researching on the manufacturing process to produce better C89710 than ever before.
Should your company also have demands for lead-free brass machining parts, please feel free to contact us with your inquiry.
